Q: I recently got engaged, when should I schedule a consultation to discuss flowers?
We recommend scheduling a consultation 6 to 12 months prior to your wedding once such details as Bridesmaids dresses and Ceremony/Reception venues have been selected.
However, if we still have your date available, we can handle with one week notice.
Q: What should I expect during a consultation?
Lots os questions and answers! For instance, how do you envision your wedding? Romantic, Elegant, Simple, Modern?
Q: What are your favorite flowers? Least favorites?
Initial consultations run approximately 30 to 60 minutes. We will discuss your vision, venues, colors, themes and budget. It is extremely helpful to bring along swatches of fabric, photos, magazine clippings of flowers/colors that caught your eye. These items make for a more productive consultation and accurate price quote.
Q: What do you get when you hire The Flower Studio to do your wedding flowers?
The service doesn't end with the initial meeting. Once you hire us you get unlimited personal attention though the day of your wedding. If you have any questions or changes, we make ourselves accessible to you by phone and email, any day of the week. Also, we will revise your quote an unlimited number of times, until you feel comfortable with what you are paying for.
Q: Do you require a minimum?
There is no minimum - however, $250 / $300 is generally enough to cover simple personal flowers for the average sized Bridal party.
Q: How much should I budget for my wedding flowers?
Although we cannot give accurate pricing without a consultation, the typical The Flower Studio client should look to spend between $500 and $3,000 on floral, with our average bid coming in around $1,000. This will vary from couple to couple, depending on factors such as guest count, seasonality of flowers, color and style. The Flower Studio recommends the following guideline depending on the amount of flowers envisioned and the total guest list:
Simple - $5 per guest.
Elegant - $10 per guest.
Decadent - $20 + per guest
Q:How do I go about booking The Flower Studio for my wedding? And what is your payment policy?
A non-refundable deposit between $100/$500 is required for date reservation. The full balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date. The Flower Studio gladly accepts credit cards,cash payment, personal and cashier’s checks.
Q:Am I allowed to make changes to the price quote once I book?
Absolutely! We just ask that everything be finalized before your full balance is due.
Q: I see that you’re located in Altamonte Springs, FL. Do you travel?
Yes, please! We would love to drive to deliver and set up your wedding flowers. Please contact us for details if you are outside of Orlando Metro Area.

Q: I see that you are a website based business - Why you do not have a retail store?
We do.. The Flower Studio started as a home-based business, after my youngest son was born, in 2008. I have been working with several flower shops, weddings companies, private parties since 2000 in the USA. In 2010, after working part-time in my last store, an oportunitty of buy a florist crossed my path. I couldn't let it go.. That is when Sunshine Florist Sorrento became our retail store. Having a flower shop and a walking cooler made my life easier. Feel free to ask any questions about this.
